SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Job Overview

Disrupt Promotions is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join and lead our Creative team.

You will be primarily responsible for handling all design projects, from conception through to execution.

As part of the role, you will also be required to assign tasks to, and oversee, junior members of the team to ensure impeccable standards are maintained.

You will be liaising with the Marketing/Communications Department to create graphics for any promotional/marketing content, while also providing creative feedback where applicable, and managing the workflow.

This role is UK-based.

 

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all stages of the design projects

  • Ensuring delivery of high quality and original artworks

  • Assigning tasks and reviewing submissions of Junior Designers, interns, and freelancers

  • Suggesting and making creative alterations to projects

  • Coordinating with the Design team in generating new and innovative design ideas

  • Designing different types of graphics such as infographics and illustrations, as per the client brief

  • Maintaining brand consistency

  • Communicating with the Marketing team for creating any promotional graphics

  • Assessing the productivity and quality output of the Design team

  • Provide a timeline upon assessing the clients’ needs and preferences

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a relevant field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer

  • Experience working within sport and a knowledge of boxing

  • A complete portfolio of all design projects

  • Familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Fireworks, and Sumo Paint

  • Ability to supervise/manage team members and freelancers

  • Up-to-date knowledge of graphic design techniques and latest trends

  • Strong sense of colour combinations, fonts, and layout 

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

  • Understanding of digital and print artwork requirements

  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
